A few things we have been making.
10" diameter circles x 1 " thick using Black Walnut and Yellowheart.
Mostly 1/2" mill end to rough out and 1/8" ball end to finish with some V-Bit carving.
Speeds are around 300 ipm.
The Coat of Arms is made from Black Walnut with an inlay of Yellowheart in the frame.
Same bits and speeds.

Nice work Michael!
On the coat of arms frame did you run it as a full length part and then miter it together like with traditional frames?
hope all is well!

Nick,
I run 8' lenghts.
There is a 1/2" x 3/8" rabbit for the yellowheart.
I glue that in before the finish pass.
Long straight runs are pretty quick in the Cobra.

You just can't get that crispness with a 3d model frame and you just made me think of better ways for more things!!
Thank you!!
