Excellent work and finish. I especially like the tapered octagon pedestal in pic #1. Do you use some sort of software to lay out the parst list and angles to cut?

Wow Jim, that's wonderful work!!
The last picture of the 3D carving looks incredible, did you use a model purchased from somebody? The relief really stands out, how deep did you cut it?
Thanks for posting.

That's great Jim. It looks like you can get a lot of detail in them. How thick is the wood and how deep do you carve? Also what is the size of the plaques?

I'll second that - exquisite! That is some room. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite that intricate on a large scale.
Are all of these files available? What kind of wood and finish are you using? Are you carving on full 4'x8' sheets of material or are you piecing it together with smaller sections?

Jim there for a min I thought you was holding out on us.
Man what some great woodwork. Thanks for the post.
Folks this is the quality we need to get back to. Our bulidings need to have the quility and the beauty to stand for 200 years. The last time I saw work like this was at pavarotti's house in the yuca tan. 4" thick entry way doors with full detail jungle scene carved in to them. 10' tall and 6' wide opening.
My wife and I wandered from the group and crossed a construction fence on our way back to the group. Found a house under construction. Nature calls went in back door plumbing worked. Short story is I used pavarotti's potty.

I agree completely Joey and hope the day is coming where price again becomes only part of the equation and true partnerships between customer and business return so that mutual loyalty doesn't hinge on the difference of a dime.
