After making a visit to Camaster in early Feb. and lurking in the back grounds of this forum since then I finally took the step today and ordered my new Camaster. I ordered a cobra 408 x2 with spindle and a plasma cutter. Hopefully someday soon I will be able to do some metal cut outs as well as wood carvings. I'm sure I will probably be full of questions for all you camheads once I receive my machine.

Wow, that's a neat sounding machine! You should have gotten an X3 and done router, plasma and laser. :D

Welcome to the club.

Welcome aboard. I have had my MC3050-R for a little over a year and love it. It will do anything I can figure out how to create a file for.

And If you are like me (I got my machine in November of 2009) The questions never end(just ask Jim Mcgew). But I love my machine, not as much as my wife (she keeps reminding me)[nih] but it is a great piece of quality machinery.
