Ok I did some searching and can not come up with how to do it.
I am trying to set my z zero for the recoil. I am programmed to the center of the part. I would think I could come down and touch off then offset my radius but I cant seem to figure it out.
So I guess my question is how do you set z zero to the center of the reciol.
Thanks.

In the immortal words of John Lennon "There's nothing you can do that can't be done."
I would think, to Z zero on the center of the recoil you would need a few measurements and some manual adjustments.
1. you know the thickness of your stock , or you know the measurement from the center to the outside edge of your material.
2. you Z zero on the outside surface of the material.
3. you adjust the Z zero manually by lowering the spindle, or router, 1/2 the amount of the material.
Another option, if you have a touch plate, is to set the plate at a specific location on your table and recalibrate the offset measurement, ( from the top of the plate to the center of the recoil).
I don't have the files here but I'm guessing that adjustment would be in the macro's file ?
Just some thoughts.

Thanks, that's kind of what I was figuring for example I have a 4" square piece in the recoil if I touch the top of one of the flats and zero z then to center z zero is -2.0. I was thinking Wincnc must store the number it gets when I set z zero on the top then I could just go there and change it -2.0. I was not sure if the Z could travel low enough for me to move to center and set it that way. I will increase my z soft limit and try it today.
