Yes, thanks Jim.
We'll just pay when we arrive. I don't have a $US bank account so my cheques are in $CDN which would be a pain for you. This way I can just hand you the cash.
Beverages provided, eh? I'm partial to single malt Scotch & fresh roasted, fresh ground, Nicaraguan Dark Roast ..... just so you know.[lol]

Does this Hampton inn have a neaby bar? Is it close? Is there a consensus on any other motel?

I think TR wants aScotch & fresh roasted, fresh ground, Nicaraguan Dark Roast so we must have a bar within stumbling distance.[lol]

Stumbling distance?
I'll have you know that I'm a gentleman & a scholar & a good judge of fine Scotch Whiskey & there's damn few of us left[wink]
Scotch is savoured, not swilled....

Wow .... Joey's not wearing any undergauchies.
Joey, if Mama sees you mooning she'll slap you 'cross the belly with a frozen pickerel!

Sorry Jim, this thread kinda got sidetracked.

Here is a link to the Wingate we have stayed at 2 times. It is a good clean place. I just looked on Travelocity and it is at $70 per night. This is where we will be. Is a little bit of a drive to Jims about 10 min or less. But a good location and great food and bars around.

94$ per night when you finish with tax but it is done. Food and drink near by is worth it. This is the Wingate at 217 Lanneau Court Harbison BLVD ColuimbiaSC

Blast... I'll be in Lousiana working while everyone else is playing... I guess someone has to be the responsible one.

Is there a chance that any of the important lessons being taught at this shin-dig being shared with those of us that have to work for a living?
