The last month I have been working on this project off and on between other things.
Three tables with metal parts that I created cad drawings for in Aspire and sent to a local machine shop to have made on their cnc lathe and also the shelf brackets were drawn and exported in dxf and sent to a laser cutter. After all was welded etc. I took the parts to be nickle plated and they turned out well.
I made templates for the tempered glass shelves so the holes would all line up with the metal standoffs coming out of the table top.
The tops were a stack of .25 on top and bottom with a 1.25 layer in the middle MFD.
Legs are maple made with a two rail sweep and cut on the CAMaster rotary
Also created all the pocketed foam for shipping parts!!!
One of the things I liked the most was that I was able to create the cad drawings in Aspire for the metal parts!! So versatile!! thanks vectric for making me look like I know what I'm doing!!
ALL DONE IN ASPIRE and cut on my CAMaster!!!! (well except the metal and glass )
Thanks for looking,
Nick
