Hi All,

Worst day yet!

I was running the machine for about 3 hours today when I started getting a lot of noise from the spindle. Initially I thought the bit came lose but after removing it, the noise and a vibration were still present. Called CAMaster and the determination was that the bearings are bad. Long story short, new spindle unit is on it's way and this one goes back to HSD for what I hope to be a warranty repair (BTW these things are big $$).

Had the same problem ( BTF ) .They sent a new one but it was found to have a small piece of wood stuck in the fan.
It sounded real bad.

Hi Michael,

Joey told me about your issue. I removed the fan and blew it out really good but still no luck.

It's a machine and these things happen. I'm just glad CAMaster had a spindle on the shelf and shipped it same day. For anyone looking at buying a machine - you can't beat the service these guys give you.
