  • Rack cleaning tool?

We cut a lot of rubber. Currently we use wire brushes to clean the rack but they never get all the way to the frame of the machine. I'm dreaming of a tool as shown in the picture. Thin spring or stainless "teeth" that match the profile and pitch of the rack (2015 Stinger 2). I could place the tool against the frame and pull it out dragging all the packed rubber/ plastic with it.
I'm hoping this exists and someone can share where to get it. I did search but no luck. I'm going to a pet store soon to look at dog grooming brushes as an alternative. As a side note, when the rubber packs the rack, it can be in the deep part of the V or compressed against the side of the teeth... hence why I would like a tool that matches the profile.
    Thanks, John

With your laser. Try cutting a piece of laminate to match the tooth rail. Standard grade would be best. Make it a rectangle shape. Radius the outside corners that will be in your hand.
I cut fine tooth, throw away glue trowels. From laminate on the laser. Different end use. It might work for you.

You have given me the idea to make one of .125 aluminum then bring the angle with a belt sander then it could get up in to grooves !

If anyone wants to make them, I will be willing to buy & try. I'm sure a lot of CNC users could use this. Surprised it doesn't exist yet.
            Thanks,

If someone wants to draw it up, I can cut it in the morning. I have some 24g stainless I can use to test it.

Finally cut one. Not perfect but works pretty good.

I hit the pet store today w a ruler and found this. Cut a 1 inch section that fits the pitch but does not scrape the sides like cnbridge version. I'll try this next week but I still want the laser cut one. I think it will be far superior.PXL_20221203_224253156.jpg

What did you cut the tool out with? laser/plasma cutter? I know my 50watt,
can't get anywhere near cutting that metal.
