  • Not following Program

    Good Morning,

So, I'm having an issue with my machine not following the program. I set my x,y,z zeros but then when I go to start my program its way off. I've checked and rechecked my program about 4 times to make sure I wasn't missing anything but have not seen anything on that end. Has anyone else come across this issue?

We would need some more details to help.
First of all, what do you mean by "way off"?
    Also...
    • Have you really set your origin and Z height properly before loading and starting your job?
    • Did you preview the job in your CAM software?
    • Is this a CAMaster machine and if so, which one?
    • Which controller are you using... WinCNC or Centroid or ...?
    • Was your part designed with Vectric software?
    • Have other previous jobs run correctly?
    • etc..

Your not using an offset by accident are you. I get a lot of files from one company that always has an offset on the AI file

        Did you initialize the machine?

SO...... I figured out what I was doing wrong (having a major brain fart). Everything is all good and in working order.

Others might learn from your fart. Always good to have a story to close the loop.
