If I wanted to find a user manual for my old guy what version would I look for? The virtualcc program or wincc has a cobra on it. Is that what inwould go by?

Check the version of software running the machine. If it is WinCNC then you might find it’s manual on their website, WinCNC.net

I think it is the right top tab that has "about" That will tell you the version and what options are enabled. Sometimes the wincnc manual is in the main folder. Under your c:\ of your pc drive open the wincnc folder. I may have a pdf version of the manual. If not on the wincnc web site you can find it.

I just happened to take a picture of that area a couple days ago to see if I could find any helpful information.

Ken this is an older Bill Hog we called them, Probably retrofited to a newer controller and motors by cnc experts in GA. my guess is she will just need to get wincnc manual online.

if she could post a screen shot of the controller screen so we can see the buttons ?

I got a fairly cheap laser engraver/cutter to learn the bare basics (x, y, center, measuring, etc) Of course this is a completely different ball game however it did help as a starter However I think I'm having an offset issue. No matter how I draw something and put in sizes, it is not centering on the machine correctly. Like there is an offset that um unaware of.

When you set an offset of certain lines, does it offset the whole thing? Like the framing?

90 % of the WinCnc manual is the same, the only things that change are not related to the CNC example adding material preview etc.
