I have had my Stinger 1 now for a couple of weeks and slowly getting up to speed with it. I just finished cutting my spoiler board over my vacuum phenolic which will hold down parts nicely. I pull about 7 inches on my vacuum gauge and since I put my vacuum pump outside due to noise (100db) I add another gauge in the pvc in front of my machine so I can see it easily. The table will lift on wheels so I can move into another room and bring in my drum sander when needed. I modified my dust boot clamp with a knob and carriage bolt and did away with the bolt and nut. I have order a clamping type bolt for bicycle seats to simplify more. I may get a Kent dust boot since I like the idea of the dust collection in the front, using my 4 inch hose vice my 2.5 now. Although as long as I remember to turn on the dust collector it seems to work fairly well even with the MDF but I run my air filter on high as well. I have a Dylos air quality monitor so I know when I need to vacate or put on a mask. I keep finding things to add and modify to suit me but overall it is a nice machine and support has been great. If anyone has any ideas for me please share or if you have questions please ask. I am a hobbyist so I do this for fun and I like to make furniture and I will post some examples. Some old retired folks buy corvettes and I buy woodworking machines and tools. Cheers.

Keith, nice looking setup you have there. My only suggestion would be to get the Kent boot sooner, rather than later.

Thank you Camee, I have made improvements since with a new Kent boot, and cleaned up my wires with air hose always hooked up. I also cut out the top of the table under the machine so I could maintain the gears etc. I am very happy with it and the support I get from Camaster. You cannot beat lifetime support.
