    How to reset Axis Fault

    I was trying to set up my laser for 1st time use going through the tutorial. When bringing the head down to zero I accidentally bumped it to far and now I am getting an X axis Error and the machine will not respond to any commands at all. Even after turning off and restarting. Since i was using the Z axis button, not sure why I got an X error.

    Thoughts?

    Have you tried G49 to reset your limits and reinitialize?

      With power off you may need to rotate the Z axis motor coupling to raise the Z axis. put a foam block under the spindle to keep it raised then power back up and initialize. That is if you had no blue boxes set. G49 will clear those.
