Rhino is a full 3D modeling program and Corel Draw is mostly used for drawing. Also, Corel Draw will not generate gcode. Rhino will generate gcode with the CAM add on but it's very expensive. For CNC work Rhino is your all around best bet. BIG learning curve though.

I use Aspire for most of my "hobby" work and Rhino for modeling the things that Aspire can't do. I don't have the Rhino add on for CAM but, Aspire will import a Rhino file as a component or model.

What about Blender a full 3D mod prog thats Free? Dunno about the code & cam part though. Seems it could.
      Agreed on the learning curve.

I don't know much about Blender. I do know that they have a free version and another version or offer add-ons that are not free. It may do the job but Rhino is my first choice and their tech support is pretty good. They also have a website where most problems are solved by either the support staff or other users. I've never had much luck with free programs. I usually wind up buying a "paid for" program somewhere down the line. Fusion 360 is pretty good also and it does have a built-in CAM gcode generator and post processors for the Camaster machines.

OnShape CAD might be worth a look. It's free for personal use.

Rhino and CorelDraw are both cool, but it depends on what you need. Rhino is great for 3D modeling, while CorelDraw is awesome for graphic design. Think about what you'll be doing more—3D stuff or design work—and that should help you pick the best one for your buck!
