  • Updates on Virus and camp

    Good Morning All,

I am looking at what to do about Camp. The information on this virus is much worse in other places than it is here, we have a very low count of infections. I could not have expected that we may cancel the entire camp yet we may have too, I will be refunding all when we do so sit tight I have every ones best interest at heart.

I had to rent the RR traailer seats and tables along with Paying the building Owner for the space, I am working to ensure this will all be refunded,

I will have more info but at this point no one needs to send me a cancel as With a sad heart i am working on this

    Thanks Jim

Do what needs to be done, Jim. Events like this can always be rescheduled when it's in the best interest of the people who would be attending.

It would be a shame to have to cancel such a looked forward to event, but erring on the side of caution is always best. Hopefully by then things will be under control and calmer minds will be in higher supply. Im praying for both!

For rescheduling this year, at least a few months out or more toward the fall is probably the best bet given the nature of the thread. Three months in for Wuhan and while things are stabilized, more or less, there is quite a ways to go. We here in North America are quite a bit behind the curve still.

Air travel and staying in hotels would probably make people more jittery than the camp itself, but yeah does not seem like a good time for any type of gathering.

At the moment, the answer would be no with the travel ban, so that's yet another reason that rescheduling has to be in the cards.

I know you have everyone’s wellbeing in mind as you go forward. I’m sure I speak for the vast majority here in saying that we are all looking forward when this is behind us and we can all meet safely for instruction, friendship, and fine food.

                        To everyone:
Please be safe out there. If you have children or older ones you care for please take all the precautions you can and only go out if needed.

You all are in everyone’s thoughts here at US Router Tools.

                              Updates

I had left knee replaced Friday AM, I will respond in more depth early this week, right now my left knee feels like someone is beating on it with a sledgehammer. LOL

Good news is it will get better.
