Mr Watson,
I have viewed your website a couple of times in the past attempting to get a better understanding of what you do and a glimpse of your background, if possible. I came away still unsure, to some degree, until tonight. Your website overhaul is to be envied! I love it! The way the pages roll, the abundance of easily accessible information, the seamless flow of past projects, etc, etc, etc, is impressive to say the least. I would ask you about who created your site but after looking thru it extensively, I am certain they are out of my price range, lol!!

Ron - thanks for that. I've thought about that and tried to address it this round - although I wanted things to be a bit more polished than just saying "I help people get things into the computer" - sounds dorky, but people can relate to that. Check your PM.

While I'm generally not a fan of these fancy new scrolling websites, this is a huge improvement over your old site.

The main issue I have with these types of sites is finding links to more information.

Thanks Gerry - Yeah...the old one was sad :( - I did that one back during the 'beans and cheese' days. I'm relieved to have something more modern and descriptive. You have no idea how long it's been bothering me...but for someone else to do it was $5-12k - that didn't appeal to my Scotch. :D

Yeah I know about the parallax/scrolling thing, but that seems to be the current trend. The other option was to do multiple pages or just leave it 'flat' - but it just didn't pop that way. It's not spit polished, but good enough for now.

I really had to cull a lot of photos and information I prepared to keep it from getting too busy. There are literally 1000's of examples I could have chosen from the archives, but these are the ones that made the cut. Going forward I may add some educational information for the customer.

I'll be showing a scan that I did just this past week for a Camaster customer who will be at the camp when I give my talk.

I went to the last Vectric User Group meeting, and none of the big shots showed up.

I don't even have time to get to Gary's place, and we live in the same state (although 10 hours apart).

I like the way the pictures and text rise up from the bottom faster than you scroll down. Pretty cool looking. The site does a good job getting across what you offer, but I don't think it does justice to just how good you are at what you do. I think links to more pictures of your finished work would help.

Also...you have helped me with problems in Artcam that I don't think I could have ever figured out on my own. I wish you could somehow get that expertise, ability, and knowledge across on your site. Maybe a place for testimonials. I'll sign up.
