Make sure you get the latest configuration software.

Watch the video on the site on how to enter config mode, you have to press the buttons immediately after plugging in the cable to get the two beeps.

I am traveling today but will get on line later to explain more.

I have the latest software. Maybe I waited too long before hitting the two buttons. I'll try again later today when I get a break from work.

Hitting the two keys right after plugging in the USB cable did work. Now I have to figure out how to enter the zero xy lines and such.

i just got new cnc delivered last week. the 30 key krs was alittle dangerias. some buttons did unwanted things. i clead all the bad buttons and slowly working on reprograming.

Is this thread still being monitored? I have the KRS keypad for my Stinger III X3 and it's great but as Eugene said a few keys do different actions than labeled. Where can I get the info to match them to the corresponding buttons on the WinCNC window?

You can contact the KRS folks directly and they are very helpful. The instructions and software are available from their website to customize keystrokes.

It's really easy to change key functions. There are some video links on the website as well, as well as for the software. And Kevin's customer support is second to none.

I still use a wireless keyboard that only cost me less than 20 bucks and it does the job IMHO.

Check with KRS but I think only the 20 key remote works with Stingers.
