New Stinger II SR34 Owner

Hello all,
I'm the proud owner of a new to me Stinger SR34.
I'm glad it has a 1.7kW spindle, FTC, and laser cross hair.

I learned the hard way on my first day that the garage electrical ran by the previous homeowner didn't have the neutrals and grounds separate, so the machine would turn on for 1 sec and then the internal breaker would kick.

Michael Mezalick was a great help for me to learn the basics of Vcarve and for guiding me in the Camaster direction.

I'll primarily be cutting MDF and HDPE in 1/2" thickness, but this size of machine will force me to learn how to index pretty quickly.

I haven't bought a Blackbox Hurricane yet, but it's on my to-do list.

Congrats on your new-to-you Stinger SR-34! You'll really enjoy having that CNC in your arsenal.

And yea...you need a four wire 30a circuit (LR-14 if you use plugs) because it's dual voltage. :)
