  • New owner of an SR44

I have recently purchased a new to me SR44. It was close to me and gives me the opportunity to figure out the machines and help decide what I might want in the future. It has the ftc, air assist counterweight cylinder, upgraded spindle(3kw), hurricane vacuum setup, and spindle on/off from program. So far, I am enjoying taking the time to set it up properly and admire how much bigger it is than my current cnc. Excited to start making some chips.

Congrats on your new machine, sounds like you got a great one to start. These aren't built like cheap hobby machines, they're very beefy and solid.

My stinger 2 will be delivered after 6 months wait. I have never used cnc or v carve before. Please advise how to start. I also purchased camaster course. Is it helpful?

You can start learning the Vectric software via the excellent training videos that Vectric has on their site/YouTube. That includes downloading the trial software so you can actually work with it.
