  • Radius Tool

I know there are many ways to solve a problem. Maybe others will add their solutions?

I have always wanted an easy way to pick the right roundover tool. Often the customer says I want this edge on a project. Just like the sample piece they bring with them. However, then I have to guess which tool to use. So I made a simple template for something to use to try and measure an existing radius.

This is roughly a ten inch diameter piece of plywood. I planned to cut from plastic, but this test piece is probably going to work fine.

If you like the idea, download the file here.

Thanks for your comments. It was one of those things I thought of in my best "thinking" place, my bed. Amazing how ideas flow when you are horizontal!!
