Wow Russell, those chairs are stunning, and it's amazingly gracious of you to make those plans available. I'm almost glad that I only have the small working area of the Stinger I or I would be insanely tempted to try my hand at making some of those.

    Kudos!

      Hi Russell,

Have been reading this thread off and on for the past several months. Absolutely love and impressed with your work. Finally made the decision to purchase the plans for both rocker and stools.

I don't currently have Aspire... I see that there was mention of potential availability for VCarvePro. Checking to see if this came to fruition or not?

If not, I will most likely be upgrading to Aspire before the end of the year and will purchase at that time.

      Thanks,

      Glenn

Thanks Glenn! Both sets of stool plans are available in v-carve pro 8, but not the rocking chair plans yet. I am going to convert them soon though. Probably better to start with the vanity stool anyway, as it leads up to the more complex rocking chair.

            Russell,

My Stinger I is listed as 25 x 36 with 5" of Z (and I've used every inch of it more than once!)...

I sell as many rocking chairs as I can make, but I don't have the time to make more than a few a year. The stools are much quicker to make, and I sell them more often (mostly the tooth shaped stools for dental offices). I make 20-30 small stools a year, and a couple sets of larger stools. I have not really marketed anything though, mostly just word of mouth and a few pictures I post on a dental forum (I haven't sold a thing from my website, because no one knows about it!).

I don't think its possible to make the rocking chair on the Stinger I. Its the rocker form and the back legs that are the problem. Even angled, its a tight fit. I might be able to redesign a couple things and get them to fit, but you'd need two different jigs for the back legs (one for each leg) and I'd need to design a slightly shorter rocker form.

Both sets of stool plans would work on the Stinger I

Russell, I know this is an old thread, but do you still have plans available for the rocking chair or vanity stools or anything. Absolutely gorgeous projects. I checked your website.
                  Thanks,
