So .... something one rarely sees is a sign that is predominantly pink. I delivered this sign 900 miles NW of here last spring, & before I was back home, she ordered a second, smaller version.
This lady makes really gorgeous cakes & "Strawberry Cakes" are her best seller .... hence the hand-carved berries. Corafoam U150, with U-200 for the letters.
How did I stumble upon work that distant? .... Well, this is a good example of how things can come together ...
Back in my earlier life ( trucking) I worked with I guy from Thunder Bay ON. His fiance rode with him whenever she could, & we all became friends. Over the years, whenever one of their kids got married, she ordered a sign from me as a wedding present for them. Guess who made the wedding cakes?
There are plenty of signmakers here in Southern Ontario who make dimensional signs, but none, to my knowledge, once you're north of Sault Ste Marie. So, every year , I'm doing more & more signs north of Lake Superior. Yes, I deliver & I install ...... they are very accustomed to paying freight for most everything coming in, & never quibble. I have 2 others on the go right now. We take the camper, & make these trips into vacations.
To put this all in perspective, if you're not Canadian, I'm in Ontario & the province we border to the west is Manitoba. From here, the Manitoba border is about the same distance as Savannah GA.
