  • Reprogramming the buttons on the handheld keypad

I have a Stinger I. I also have a handheld keypad hooked to it. I was wondering if there is a way to reprogram the buttons so they can be used for something else. As in, I would like to have a button on it to be a GOTO X0Y0. Is this possible or am I just wishing it is?

If it's a KRS keypad, then yes.

It is the keypad that I bought when I bought the machine from Camaster.

If it's the wireless mpg, it's buttons are synced to onscreen buttons. So if you have an onscreen buttons that runs the macro you want, then yes

Both the 20 key and 30 key KRS keypads can be programmed to your own needs. There is information and a utility available from KRS.

If it's the 20-key USB keypad then there are not many candidates for reprogramming.
Maybe the Tab key - that's the only one I've never used on my keypad over the last few years but I'm not sure how to tie it to the Goto X0Y0 macro.

            Good luck!

You can use software or tools that allow you to remap or assign custom functions to specific keys.

The only one I haven't used in years, but I can't figure out how to connect to the Goto X0Y0 macro.
