  • Fast Tool Change Option for Non ATC Machines

Musclechuck now has the Type14. This unit fits any machine\CNC that can use a 3/4" Collet. This means that Your CNC that uses ER25 or ER32 Collets now has an option to make it a true quick change spindle.

Using the Musclechuck system all you do is turn a T handle wrench and your tool is firmly secure and ready to use. I use one on my CNC milling aluminum it is a huge time and knuckle saver.

Joey, I have an SR24 that uses the ER25 collets but they only go up to 5/8. I’m guessing this isnt an option for me?

          Hi Joey -

I have a Stinger II 24 with a X3 option. It has two Milwaukees on either side of a HSD 3kW spindle with ER25 collet.

I found the Milwaukees on the Musclechuck website. Question, what Musclechuck is needed for the HSD spindle?

          Thanks.

                Hey Joey,

I ordered the MC-14 from you and it's on the way. I have an SR-24 with the 1.7 kW HSD spindle. I just re-read Joe's post above and I'm a little confused about the 3/4" collet. Did I need to order that as well?

                Thanks.

EDIT - Spoke to Joey and ordered the required 3/4" collet.

Now I’m confused too. I have the 3kw had spindle. Are you saying I can use 3/4” shank bits? I thought half inch was my max.

I ordered on today for my Stinger 1 because the arthritis in my hands is getting worse and I hope it will be easier for me to change bits. I will let give you my thoughts on it after I use it. Great customer service from Joey as well.
