US Router Tools Feed and Speed Chart

I have attached a US Router Tools feed and speed program, download the ZIP file then extract the program. To find your feed rate for a tool is enter you RPM into the green box then click "Calculate Feed Rate"

it has a little more work but the chip load calculator is also available on iphone and android.

001 - what the icon looks like
002 - the splash screen
003 - start at the top and select the type off material you are cutting
004 - the drop down has a good selection of the most used substrates
005 - select how many flutes your bit has
006 - type in your desired RPM for most wood I cut at 16,000 RPM
007 - look on the list for the diameter of your tool and you have your feed rate**


** if your using a router or less than 5hp spindle you need to stay on the low end of the range. If you are cutting with a large spindle and high quality tools or dimond tooling you need the high range

I hope this helps, i need to have the guy do some work on the graphics and a link but for now it works

Been using Joey's app for months and it works great. Easiest way I've found to dial in feeds and speeds.
