I wanted to share this. It's helped me prevent a number of oopsies. I might change the text later, but for now it's working great.

Are there other things that I should squeeze in on the list?

I like that - very visible and easy to read.
I have something similar posted next to my machine...

Job Setup Checklist for FTC job run:
    1. Double-check job setup - is Z-zero plane at machine bed??
    2. Is the Correct PostProcessor used ?-> CAMasterToolChangeInch for FTC
    3. Is the table clear? Can all axes move without interference?
    4. Initialize machine
    5. If TouchTop was used for last job run G92
    6. Position workpiece and Zero XY with laser
    7. Load toolpath file and run Preview - does it look right?
    8. Eye and Ear protection on?
    9. Start dust collector and vacuum
    10. Start job - FTC macro is run - load first bit
    11. Measure/check bit Z height - compare to DRO - OK?
    12. Replace dust shoe, hit enter, run job

Man that is definitely one I should add to my list. Thank you.

In a similar vein, today I finally used my 7w laser that came with the machine. Is there anything similar I need to do (like running G92 after using touchtop in the last job) that I need to do after using the laser when I want to go back to normal cutting with the spindle? Or is it just a simple click of the 'route mode' button?

        Thanks!

I don't run the laser a lot so it's handy to have a checklist.
Here's my cheat sheet for the laser setup/shutdown.

          Laser Setup:
          - Remove bits / dust shoe
          - Attach and plug in the laser
          - Turn on laser engraver at switch
          - Hit engraver reset - confirm LED is ON
          - Make sure machine in Router mode (Router home)
          - Initialize machine
          - Set X0 Y0 Manually or with laser crosshairs
          - Press Engraver Left
          - Bring laser down to about 1/8" off material surface - CAREFULLY
          - Press Zero Engraver to set Z height - laser should raise up a little
          - Load part - make sure TPs generated using CAMASTER Laser PP
          - Turn on fan
          - RED GLASSES ON!
          - Run part

          UNDO Laser Seup
          - Turn laser OFF at switch
          - Disconnect laser power connector
          - Remove laser
          - Hit Router Home in WinCNC to get out of laser mode
NOTE: might need to run G92 after laser use

          How to calibrate laser crosshairs:
          - Edit laser_zero.mac to adjust laser offsets correctly

I definitely missed some of those ‘undo’ steps. Thanks for sharing!
