      Nice. Thumbs up (pun intended).

Just recently picked up a SawStop. As everyone says; Hope to never truly test the brake feature out, but glad the feature is there.

My dad was missing finger parts. When he died I decided he would support me using a little of his money for the price of a saw stop. Haven't had this experience but glad to see if work on more than a hot dog. Thanks and glad all is okay.

As I start to look in upgrading my table saw, stories like this just reinforce the value of a Sawstop! Thanks for sharing!

My next tool upgrade was going to be a new table saw, Im going to get a saw stop now. I know this is the Camaster forum, but in buying one can you tell us which one you have and what accessories are worth getting. There isn't a place to see one anyone here and videos are only so good. I know it's off topic and I do apologize. Delete if this goes over the line.

              Polygon,

I picked up the 3HP Professional model. Recommend the industrial rolling base vs. the standard base that you can get with the professional.

If you have the room get the 52" vs 36" table extension. Seems SawStop runs a special every March; Get 1 free $200 accessory. Either the standard rolling base or over arm dust collection accessory. I opted for the over arm b/c I wanted the industrial base. Haven't installed it yet, but I have read and watched reviews saying that it works well.

I love my Saw Stop! I had a Delta Unisaw for about 20 years. Lost the end of my middle finger on it.
I bought the Saw Stop for safety, but love the quality. It is every bit as nice as my Unisaw. I made a cabinet that fits under the 52 inch fence table. I also have the mobile base. So i had to come up with a way to make my storage table mobile. It was too heavy for the jack of the mobile base to lift. When i lift the table, the cabinet stays in place and rolls with the table saw.

I'm very happy with how it turned out. But my favorite piece of equipment in the shop is my Camaster!

I'm really limited on space so a 36 would be max, I have a panel saw for cutting up sheet goods.
It's between the contractor and professional, the contractor I can put on my mobile cart. But I can go 220 with the professional.
Once again it's space and storage vs capability.
An outfitted contractor is 2400 or so, the 110 professional would be about 3135, 220 pro is about 3426.
I'm not sure the loss of storage is worth the 700 price difference and 1000 for the 220. I'd have to run another 220 for it.
                  The shop size is 20x20.
I included a pic of one wall, it's much much fuller now.
