For temporary it would probably work better if you had a surge protector with an on/off switch. Trying to un-plug and plug doesn't sound good since it could be a surge in the system.

Check with the factory, but the Stinger 1 is a 110 volt system, even with a spindle. Unless you upgraded to the bigger spindle.
