Yes - chip evacuation is a contributing factor. The design of these bits doesn't lend itself to evacuating chips well.

Air Mister with ATC & dust boot?

Has anyone had success adding a mister to a machine with ATC & dust boot?

I don't need lubricant, just a stream of air to clear chips from the toolpath.

Sounds good guys! From that video, it looks like I can program the spiral holes considerably faster.

Two years of using the stinger / router have left me too conservative with feedrates I suppose!
