Default Touch up paint color?

Before I go experimenting, has anyone found a reasonable yellow paint color match for the frame? Mine has a few dings that I would like to touch up if possible.

Thanks!

If you have any "small pieces" painted in that color that you can readily remove, take one to the "paint store" and have them scan it and match it.

Otherwise, I'm pretty sure that a call to Camaster would yield the exact "color number" and source.

My Stinger III is all welded together - nothing yellow is removable without a grinder.

Likely my best result would be a spray enamel which wouldn’t be mixable - it is what it is. Anybody try Krylon or Duplicolor or similar?

Long time ago CAMasters were Black, I told Bill to return to the Yellow on the New X3 machines that lit off CAMaster as you see it today.

search on the forum there were discussions a good 8 + years ago on color, there was a Sherwin Williams color number for what we called "School Bus Yellow"

I thought it was called camaster yellow by Sherwin Williams. I thought Mick had a post on here showing the top of a paint can with the color code on it. But I wasn't able to find it, hopefully Mick will see this post and chime in for you.

My understanding is that for a time, the color was akin to "School Bus Yellow"...which is about the color of the yellow in the vinyl logos. But the yellow they apply to the structures at the subcontractor who builds them is not that color at this point for sure. I also suggest launching a call to Camaster...and posting their reply here. :)

Mick posted this in his Stinger 1 table build, (pic 1). It's a very close color match (pic 2), but it is a latex enamel.
I think.. I used a Krylon paint called Sun Yellow for the 2 signs on the control box mount. It is a little darker yellow than the Camaster yellow.
