Default Bit not making it to material... Fusion 360

First time posting, woohoo!

Trying to get Fusion to work on my Camaster with very little luck.
Hereís whatís happening. Iím trying to cut a template out of quarter inch plywood. I put my tap file into win cnc, Measure my tool off the spoil board everythingís looking good so I press start and then the bit runs the tool path about half an inch off the spoil board and never makes it to the material... 😂
The final pass is about a quarter inch from the spoil board. About where my material is. Whatís going on? Tool path looks good on the computer when I run it. Anyone had this happen.

I am a newbie but Iíve use vCarv a bunch and itís worked. trying to get this to work because I build instruments and it should give more flexibility for toolpathing. Any help would be appreciated. I have a stinger 2 with all the bells and whistles.

I'm not familiar with F360's operation, but remember, in VCP, you had to tell the machine whether or not you were measuring off the top of material or top of spoilboard. The same has to hold true in F360 I would think.

Does your .tap file tell the machine to go to z0 or some other value?

Is there a green box on your screen by the z value?

If yes, when you click on that green box what does it read?

Just thinking.

thanks Charly, had the Z boundaries set from a Christmas present Project. Goofy. Just cut out the part but the spindle didn’t stop at the end of the file. If anyone has a fix for this let me know. Thanks again!

Look at your tap file, near the end. Normally there would be the m5 command there to stop the spindle.

If it isnít there you may need to investigate the post processor file.
