Question Machine/ Software Literature

Hey all, I have a question. Is there Machine/Software literature supposed to come with each Router? My Panther didn't come with any information with it (owners manual, quickstart guide, software guide.. etc.) I've looked through the forums for such information but no luck in finding any.

My Build consists of:
  • PT-510 Panther
  • 5HP spindle upgrade
  • 6 Tool rotary carousel
  • oscillating tangential knife
  • optiscout system
  • t-rail system
  • Vectric V-Carve and winCNC

Here's some more backstory for you. I went to the training class a few months ago. Unfortunately I hadn't even gotten my hands on the machine yet due to construction in our shop. Fast-forward to today, compressor installed, dust collector arriving this week, bits should be here today, but no quickstart bible for using some of the features of this particular machine.

I am very excited to get up and going, as I have a few projects I can jump on but am being very cautious about cold booting this machine and playing with certain features that weren't explained in detail about in class.

I believe the documentation is usually (always?) installed on the control PC. There was a desktop folder containing the docs on my machine.

There is also a very nice Vectric manual on the cd shipped with the machine. Took me a while to find out about it but it covers everything about the software. I printed two copies, one for the machine and one to keep beside my recliner.

Welcome Mr. Robot. I have the exact same machine you have minus the knife and optiscout. There are some pdf's on the control computer for operating and Gcode reference. Just poke around and see if you can find them. If you have any questions feel free to PM me and I'll try to help you out. I went from a no frills manual tool change machine to the new ATC Panther and it was a bit intimidating for a few weeks.

Default New user orientation

If you have internet at the machine Camaster can connect and give you an orientation.Highly recommend.
