Default Me too

I found out about the Z position the hard way. I set some home positions for some vacuum jigs I made. I didn't realize it would save the original Z as well. I ruined a couple of pieces before I figured out what was happening. I didn't go into the file and change anything, I just remember to reset the Z when I move to one of the presets. I may change the file now that I know what to look for.

I set all my x-y locations with the gantry up as high as it goes, but I "think" that the saved positions have an option to ignore the Z. I may be mistaken on that.

Tim, glad my timing was good for you. I seem to do a lot of two-sided things that require index pins and flipping, so having more entries makes repeat work using the same holes I already drilled in my spoilboard a lot easier. LOL Some of this work is for others, too, so being able to setup quickly for those jobs makes my life easer and "less costly" (to me) relative to my time.

Only if you delete the Z position after you "Get" it and before you "Save" it.

There may also be an A or B position you don't want to set a local zero to.
