Default Bidding Gov Contracts

Has anyone ever gotten work bidding contracts on SAM.gov? If so, could you share what the process was like and if it was worth it?

I have no experience with CNC products specifically, but do have some as a vendor to nearby Air Force Base some years ago.

Short version: Slow pay. SOP was claimed to be 60 days, but proved to be longer in some cases with multiple statements sent. In the end, deemed more of a hassle than it was worth for $$ involved. YMMV
