Hello,
I’ve owned and operated the CAMaster MC-2840 since 2009 and it’s been the greatest workhorse. I would now like to see if it is possible to convert the machine from running a Porter Cable router to a Hypertherm 45 XP plasma cutting system. Here are my machine’s specs: • Power supply is a MeanWell S-150-24 outputting 24V • Stepper motors are 23H276-28-4B (x- and y-axis) and 23H300H-05B (z-axis) • Rockcliff Stepper Driver 4X (which has been discontinued) • Running Mach3 on a Windows XP Home Edition, Service Pack 3 PC. Intel Pentium 4, 2.66GHz and 1 Gb RAM. Would these current components be compatible with the 45 XP? How would I go about introducing the plasma cutter? Any help or assistance anyone can provide would be appreciated! Regards, Bryan
