For a friends dad. Still have to paint a few things and gold leaf harp and the little squares around the beer.

Very nice job, Bob! I bet even a non beer lover (gasp!) would like that awesome sign.

Question for you and the other folks who do signs in cora foam. What would be the recommended/best way to attach a sign to a mailbox column made out of stone? I will be making one for our place when the guys finish building the column and I want to use the cora foam.

Hummmm, I have not attached anything to stone yet. Hopefully someone will chime in with a creative answer because I would also be interested in the proper technique. If the stone is uneven I could see the Corafoam maybe cracking (correct me if Iím way off here) if screwed in different locations.

You would need to make sure it was shimmed out so there'd be no added stress on the sign. Then, I would use PanelClips, mounted with Tapcons. You might have to pre-drill the stone a bit oversize & then put in a filling epoxy, in case the stone is too hard for the Tapcons.
If the sign is bigger, then you could use KingClips, with lead inserts & 1/4" lags.
