First major lesson learned: Order the parts first. I got the neck and bridge thinking that would satisfy my fit check requirements but now I’m nervous about cutting the body before I can check the pickups and pickguard, so those are on the way now and I’ll probably hold until Friday to route the body.

Pete , its always a good idea to have the parts on hand but , if your cut file follows the T. Downs drawing and you follow the depths listed the parts will fit . I've cut probably 40 - 50 T - style bodies with my files based off that drawing with no fitment issues what so ever .
