Default Checklist before starting for the first time

My machine has been sitting for several years in a climate controlled storage. I'm the second owner, the first one never even opened the crate.

Is there some sort of list anyone had to put together on what needs to be checked/ greased/ trued before the machine is powered on the first time?

They ship them pretty much ready to run.
You could always check the pc for loose pcie cards or loose ram.

Check in the cnc control box for anything obvious.
Take a look at the cable routing and make sure the cable drag chain ( cable track ) is all clicked together and free.

You could manually check the limit switches before you initialize if you wanted.

As far as grease you really shouldn't need to for a while depending on use.

IDK what your doing spoilboard wise but truing comes after you get that attached and skim the top. That way you know the bed is parallel with the gantry. Check the tram at this point. Then cut some test squares and circles.
