Default Oval circles

I have noticed that cutting circles ether with profile or pocket the hole or circular cutout are not round they are oval one side is the dia I put in, but other side is about .015 under, Any ideas ? I have been doing cut with a 1/2 dia cutter. Also does not seen to make different where on table and size of circle.

I am not familiar with the stinger. As a thought. If your top and bottom run along the y. This makes the sides run down the x.
If its always the same side cutting oval. I would look at the gears and rails on that side of your stinger.
what about your hold down? could the bit be pulling or pushing your part?
Try a small diameter bit. Just barley cutting the surface. Does it cut round?

Check your belt tension and make sure that the spring loaded slide plate moves freely. Also check condition of spur gears

I checked and everything seemed fine I also tweaked resolution. What I found was that if I lowered speed from 100 in/min to 50 the hole was almost perfect. I was using the Vectric default . Are there any recommendation for travel speed ?

you should cut great circles at 100+ ipm. i agree with gary you need to check the belt tension. they should be able to flex no more that 1/8"-3/16" from neutral. if they do then it is too lose. if it doesn't move at all then it is too tight.(yes a belt can be too tight) if all seams ok check your gear rack to see if something is gummed up in the teeth. if this is ok then check the tension spring on the gear box. after that check your bearings. I have seen bearings packed with wood chips or mdf dust make a cnc run like crap.

just my 2 cents
