Default Bananas anyone? (quickie project)

My older daughter was going to buy a banana stand for her apartment in town...she seems to always forget she's not exactly rolling in money. I stopped the buy and suggested I would just make her one.

30 minutes and a piece of scrap BB later...we have a solution. (not including drying time for the spray bomb shellac)

Nicely done. Sometimes you just have to get them started. She may be back when the item is really expensive and she remembers that Dad can do it for free!!

This project proves I can draw a circle and draw a rectangle. :) And use a little sandpaper. LOL

But seriously, it can be fun to treat the CNC like any other tool and just do what you need to do to make even simple things with it. This was refreshing given I'm working on another guitar build (a bass this time) and that takes a bit more brain concentration. So this little thing was a break from that and was very much welcomed.

Today, she hung the first bunch on it in her apartment, too.
