Default Couple inlays I finished up today

Just finished a kind of cool wedding stool today, letting it sit a few days before oiling so the purpleheart will go darker.

And another inlay stool top that is almost finished. Haven't made stools in a few months, as my Cobra has been busy on less interesting work!

Itís awesome! What font is that? I can see the big M is an inlay. What are the other letters inlaid with?

Beautiful work as always, Russell. You have certainly mastered the art of inlays.

Thanks guys!

The 'M' is cherry, the other lettering is purpleheart and the lines are walnut. The other logo is also done with walnut, cherry and purpleheart.

Purpleheart loses its nice purple color when you cut and sand it, but UV light will bring the dark purple back. So I usually finish sanding any purpleheart projects and leave them sit a couple days before oiling them.

Super sharp inlays. One day I'm going to gather all the info you've posted on this topic and try some for my own self.

Really great work as always.
