  • A quick question on processes

Just seeing if I am crazy or what...

After I re-surface my spoil board, my process is the following:
    1. Manually pick up tool 1 and set to top of newly surfaced spoil board using 4mm paper method.
    2. Zero Z on screen.
    3. Calibrate Switch.
    4. Measure all tools.
    5. Go to work.

My question is this-If all my tools are already measured and are relative to the switch position, they should all re-calculate if the switch position changes.
Does anyone know if WINCNC works this way or is it required to re-measure every tool, every time.

I would like to get to where I could simply reset my switch by the amount taken off the table but my 4" fly cutter will not read correctly on the switch.

Any others experience would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for incremental improvements in time for processing.

Thanks all and have a great and prosperous New Year.
